FAST BOOKING
1. The tenant sends the owner a message including the following information:
- The composition of your family or group (adults/children/babies). Please specify their ages.
- Your postal address.
- A mobile phone number.
- Please indicate whether you would like the end-of-stay cleaning option (+€120).
- Please indicate which pets will be accompanying you.
2. The owner sends the personalised rental agreement by email.
3. The tenant returns the signed booking agreement (by post or as a scanned copy by email). Payment of the 25% deposit by bank transfer.
4. The owner sends the booking confirmation by post.
5. One month before your stay: the remaining balance, proof of holiday rental insurance and payment for the cleaning option must be sent directly to the owner. The €990 security deposit must be paid by bank transfer (or by cheque, which will not be cashed).
CANCELLATION – In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.
TERMS OF BOOKING
For a complete application, with the information requested above, made more than one month before the date of stay:
- Sending personalized contract by e-mail. (owner to the tenant)
- Reservation request by return by post (25% deposit) (renter to the owner)
- Confirmation of reservation by mail (owner to renter)
- Balance, certificate of holiday insurance, and security deposit by mail (renter to the owner).
THE DEPOSIT OF GUARANTEE (990 €) is to be carried out with the balance, one month before the entry in hiring. If the deposit is made by check, it is not cashed, unless the inventory of places of exit requires.
The current expenses included cover the usual consumption (excluding heating) of a family or a group. You must nevertheless provide the possibility of a supplement in case of additional consumption or for heating (electricity and / or wood) according to the seasons and according to the habits of each.
End of stay cleaning (+ 120 €) is an option and not an obligation.
The end-of-stay cleaning option: Either you do not take it then you have to return the house exactly in the state (cleaning and storage) where you found it as input. Either you take it then you do not have to clean the end of your stay. This does not exclude to enjoy the rental in “good father”. What is the spirit of the household option? It is to allow the tenant not to clean the last day, not to dust the premises before leaving the rental .. The cleaning option does not correspond to the complete cleaning of a house that would not not cleaned during the entire stay or storage of the house.
WELCOME GUIDE. ENTRY AND EXIT TIMES.
The house is independent. The owner does not live nearby. Check-ins are on Saturdays at 5 p.m., check-outs at 10 a.m. The keys are handed over on site. If the house is ready before 5 p.m., you will receive a text message with the code for a key box on the day of your check-in, at the time the house is ready. The entry code is never sent before the house is ready. Check-in can also be done after 5 p.m. with the key box. If you want other times, please ask. Check-outs cannot be done after 10 a.m. On request, an early check-out is possible.
For any questions, contact the host by phone or text message with the phone number on the contract, on the website after booking, and which is displayed in the rental.
The house is located in Barneville plage at the address on the contract. Directions. By car, from Caen take the RN13, exit D902 Valognes Bricquebec Barneville. By train, the nearest station is in Valognes. By plane, the nearest airports are in Carpiquet (near Caen) or Maupertus (near Cherbourg).
On the property, you can park 3 cars. The equipment instructions are in the kitchen drawer, under the oven. The Wifi code is next to the Internet box.
Current charges are included in the price. Please note: 100 Kwh / week of electricity and 4 m3 / week of water, 90 liters of wood / week (which corresponds to 1/4 of one of the two reserves next to the fireplace). Additional consumption will be billed. Prices October 2025: (wood €24 / 90 liters); electricity € 0.1952 / kWh; water €5 / m3). The EDF and water rates applied will be those in effect at the time of rental. The current charges included cover the usual consumption (excluding heating) of a group.
